Imagine we’re in an elevator and you have until we reach our floor to pitch your project/idea.

What’s your elevator pitch?

Microglial cells are immune defenders of the brain, and
they never have any rest. We will study how these cells interact with
interneurons.
What fascinates you about your project?

We will try new concepts to understand how information in sculpured in
the brain.

How did you come to work in the field of Neuroscience?

My aunt has multiple sclerosis. Since my childhood I saw that brain
diseases are poorly treated. And later, I decided to study the brain in
a hope to provide better treatment for patients with CNS disorders.

What does your family think you do for a living?

People who watched my channel know that I do something interesting to
understand brain functions.
But for the rest, “I am doing something enigmatic in a white lab-coat”.
