What’s your elevator pitch?

We apply an innovative and highly collaborative approach to shed light on how plasticity of inhibitory and excitatory neurons control the encoding of spatial features of the environment.

What fascinates you about your project?

Being able to study the speed and precision of structural and functional restructuring of individual neurons and neuronal connections during the process of memory formation.

How did you come to work in the field of Neuroscience?

We were inspired by the well-organized complexity and rich diversity of neuronal circuits.
