Imagine we’re in an elevator and you have until we reach our floor to pitch your project/idea.

What’s your elevator pitch?

We provide crucial support to the CRC by establishing low-threshold research data management that propels research. For this purpose, we combine specialist expertise in high-resolution light microscopy with wide-ranging competences in RDM infrastructure and operations.

What fascinates you about your project?

As somebody who likes to combine modeling tools with data workflows for gaining solid evidence, I am fascinated by the diversity and challenge of the data in IN-CODE, and I look forward to facilitating insight by integrating information sources.

How did you come to work in the field of Neuroscience?

My institute has been involved in neuroscience projects for a long time, and I personally have come to like the combination of inspiring research questions and methods expertise in this community.

What does your family think you do for a living?

People who know me certainly get the impression that I thoroughly enjoy connecting artificial intelligence, models, and data across many different biomedical applications, as I get to play in everybody’s backyard.
