Imagine we’re in an elevator and you have until we reach our floor to pitch your project/idea.

What’s your elevator pitch?

We provide crucial support to the CRC by establishing low-threshold research data management that propels research. For this purpose, we combine specialist expertise in high-resolution light microscopy with wide-ranging competences in RDM infrastructure and operations.

What fascinates you about your project?

As a microscopy expert, we have to handle and analyze huge amounts of imaging data. Proper research data management is crucial to perform robust data analysis

How did you come to work in the field of Neuroscience?

The aforementioned being the case, I was asked to contribute to neuroscience as an expert in high-resolution microscopy because many neurobiologists wanted to see what is inside the tiny synapses of the brain.

What does your family think you do for a living?

Many people think that I am looking through the eyepiece of a microscope all day, and, aaahhhh, discover something mayor.
